Whether it’s powering 10 refrigerated containers around the Pacific Islands, or over 100 reefers across the North Atlantic, we can provide a reliable and robust auxiliary power solution for all of your on-board requirements.
Our specialist marine generator sets are purpose-built to handle the harsh and unforgiving marine environment.
Minimum footprint for maximum advantage
Ranging in size from 250 kVA to 1250 kVA, our acoustically rated GL specified marine generators are built to International Safety Convention standards.
Fabricated within standard ISO 20 foot shipping containers, our portable seagoing generators are uniquely designed to minimise the displacement of valuable paying cargo space, thus reducing the hidden cost of power pack usage.
Each of our marine gensets are built with reliable and proven mechanical governing and control technology, with dual electrical control systems to ensure total reliability. Self-contained long-range bunded fuel tanks have enough capacity for at least two days running at full load.
Our generator control systems provide advanced surveillance and protection for our machines, are simple to use and can be operated locally or remotely.
Marine rated electronic panels can display advanced engine information for manual recording by crewmen aboard ship. Our marine gensets can relay their status wirelessly to remote monitors on the ship’s bridge, with some able to be configured to send SMS messages to pre-programmed numbers regarding engine warnings and shutdown information.
All of our control systems include manual and auto start controllers, auto mains (utility) failure controllers, auto transfer switch control, and paralleling and load sharing capability.
We have a wide range of accessories and distribution equipment available for hire alongside our marine gensets. This includes:
- Cables and leads
- Distribution boards
- Transformers ranging in size from 1 kVA to 760 kVA
- AC-DC rectifiers
- Temporary switchboards
- Portable and compact reefer distribution boxes with integral power factor correction
Reefer extension leads and an assortment of international plug adaptors for rapid on-board reticulation and set up.
Our skilled marine electrical and reefer technicians will assist with on-board set up as required, and are also available for the ongoing operation of both gensets and reefer containers throughout the voyage in situations where ship’s crew may already be fully occupied with remedial work below deck.
With over 60 years’ of generator power experience behind us, Webster Group excels at designing and installing fuel systems and bulk fuel tanks that meet ERMA HASNO regulations.
Each marine generator has an integral long-range bunded fuel tank with capacity to run the engine for a minimum of two days at full load. Some gensets come with larger tanks, and additional ISO tanktainers are available for extended range.
Our logistics team will take care of all your transport, port access and customs arrangements.
All of our units are configured to be handled by road and rail transport operators, with vital equipment securely and safely stowed inside for absolute peace of mind.
